

Jones Sarfo holds a BL and BA in law from the Ghana law School and University of Ghana Legon respectively, MA in International affairs from the University of Ghana Legon-LECIA, and a certificate in Public Administration from GIMPA. He also has certificates in International Peace support operations from the Kofi Annan International Peace Keeping Training Center-KAIPTC and certificates in Conflict and Crisis Defense Management.
Jones was commissioned into the Ghana Armed Forces in 1997 and held various appointments at the legal directorate of the Ghana Armed Forces and retired as an Assistant Director Legal Services. While serving in the Military as a legal officer he has had the privilege of participating in several Peace keeping operations and missions as a legal including the United Nations Force in the Lebanon (UNFIL); United Nations Mission in Liberia (UNMIL), the United Nations Mission in Ethiopia and Eritrea (UNMEE) and the United Nations Mission in Sierra Leone (UNAMSIL).
Lt Col Jones Sarfo has also undertaken some Military courses in International Peace support Operations at the KAIPTC, defense management at the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Staff College and conflict crisis at the Ghana Armed Forces Command and Management Command and Staff College in conjunction with the University of Cranefield UK and the University of Ghana Legon.
No doubt based on his experiences peace building and conflict resolution are his forte.
