  • Our Work Includes:
    – Advising international mining companies on restructuring their Ghanaian operations, including consents from the Minerals Commission and Ministry of Lands and Natural Resources
    – Legal due diligence for mining acquisitions and investments
    – Advising on licensing requirements, environmental compliance, and land use regulations
    – Representing investors in multi-million-dollar acquisitions and divestitures of mining interests
    – Negotiating joint venture agreements and partnership arrangements
    – Advising on regulatory reporting, royalties, and Ghanaian local participation requirements
    – Supporting clients in dealings with the Environmental Protection Agency and other statutory bodies
  •  Recent Experience:
    – Lead legal counsel on the merger of Ashanti Goldfields with AngloGold Ltd, including legal structuring and multi-jurisdictional stock exchange listings
    – Advised Golden Star Resources on its public offering and listing on the Ghana Stock Exchange
    – Assisted several mining entities in environmental and labour compliance matters
